  • cold or flu-like symptoms
  • congestion
  • cough
  • dryness or soreness of the throat
Less common
  • Abdominal or stomach pain
  • diarrhea

  • lower back or side pain
  • nausea
Rare
  • White patches inside the nose or mouth

Some side effects of mometasone may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine.
